Spirit of the Forest

‘APE’s ‘Spirit of the Forest’ EP marks 30 years of commitment to try and help the indigenous rainforest communities in Brazil in their fight for land rights and biodiversity integrity.

With a growing number of COVID-19 cases, APE is supporting indigenous communities at the edge of the infection in the Amazon. We have partnered with ‘Sateré Mawé Association of indigenous women’ and the ‘Mothers without Borders’ in the production of protective masks and hand-made soaps. These are being distributed amongst 850 villages along the Rio Negro.
